Sometimes it is
appropriate to telephone for advice,
rather than making an appointment.
First ask the receptionist for
non-medical advice. If she is unable
to help she will put you through to
the appropriate person. If the
person you need is not available,
you may be advised to call back
later or leave your number and your
call will be returned.
If you wish to contact your doctor
please phone in the mornings.
The reception staff have been asked
not to interrupt the doctors with
non-urgent telephone calls while
they are consulting. If you wish to
speak to the doctor on the telephone
and he or she is not available, the
staff will take a message or suggest
a time when the doctor should be
free.
